I decided to test this morning as I started spotting last night. Fully expecting a negative, but to my amazement it was positive!

I am in shock and utter disbelief as I had practically no symptoms this time.

My clinic had advised last December that at 41 years old (now) I had a 3.4% chance of conceiving and even less of carrying to term. So I set about making loads of changes so that when it failed I knew that I had done everything possible.

Whilst I know it is super early days, today I am enjoying the knowledge that I have a little baby growing inside me.

waiting on a call back from my clinic to see if they will increase my cyclogest and lubion to hopefully help with the spotting.

I hope this is a positive for any fellow warriors, in their 40s who needs a positive story today.

If you don't mind me asking, what grade was your embryo?

Thank you! My embryo was graded as 3BB. It was also PGT-A tested.

Out if 8 eggs retrieved it was the only one to make it to 5 day blastocyst stage.

I didn’t have any pregnancy symptoms, I took a test because I was spotting a bit. The test for me was to confirm early that I wasn’t pregnant as I was so sure that wee t it hadn’t worked .
