Hey everyone. So I was convinced my period was coming, I had all the usual tell tale symptoms and I also get a dodgy tummy when she’s due (thanks to my endo) amongst other things. OTD isn’t until Friday, but I thought I’d test early to put us out of our misery and to my utter shock a second line appeared straight away. I’m still convinced it’s not real and that it’s a chemical or something.

I’m going to go to Boots to get some FRER tests and do one later on this morning, do you think it’ll still come back positive or would my wee be too diluted? Not sure if I can wait until tomorrow morning! I just used a cheap one the hospital gave me. I know a hell of a lot can happen (been there and done it). I’m also worried because I’ve started spotting pink blood when I do my cyclogest pessaries but I don’t want to call the clinic and tell them as OTD isn’t until Friday. What should I do?? Any advice and reassurance welcome!

Thanks in advance xx

Just retest on OTD and call clinic with the result then but otherwise that looks positive to me! :) Congratulations! Xx

Hi Megandmog,

Congratulations 😍

I'd read a few of your previous posts & took interest as I also have endo & starting IVF really soon. Is this BFP with your own eggs on short protocol or did you go down the DE route after all? Xx

Hey Lizzie, it’s with my own eggs. Had a much better response on short protocol, two made it to day 5 so I had a fresh transfer and one had been frozen xx

Amazing 🥳 👏 good for you, my love!! That's the best news xx

Thank you. I wish you the best of luck. It can happen for people with endo. After my first cycle I was convinced my eggs were rubbish quality thanks to the endo. When do you start your cycle? Also I’ve just looked on your profile and I’ve never had any lining issues xx

Oh thank you, that's soo good to know 😁 it's a little messy with the clinic closing at Christmas so we were told start at next period but unfortunately that means embryo transfer xmas day which isn't possible so I'm fearing I'll be pushed back to January start & Covid rates are not looking good 😫 congrats again on your positive test, so exciting!! 💃 xx

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! ❤️🎊💐🎉💙💛💜

Hey, I think if it came up positive on a cheaper test then it's definitely positive. I think if you dont drink for two hours before the test the urine should be diluted enough (not 100% sure on that)!!Congratulations!! I had my fet 7 days ago and the nurse told me spotting was totally normal , it could be the embryo implantation or irritation of the uterus from the pessaries. Focus on the positive test🤗!

I did a clear blue this morning and nothing!!! I too felt like my period was coming last night because I had a dodgy tummy..... hope I'm the same as you.

Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻🤞🏻! 7 days post transfer might be too early. I done another test with a FRER and there’s a clear positive on that too so I’m happy xxx

Thank you Lissy! I was going to test on Friday too as that’s my OTD but because I got all my AF symptoms I thought I might as well put us out of our misery rather than wait the two extra days!

No other symptoms really apart from really vivid dreams and being quite cranky and snappy lol. Good luck for Friday, I’m keeping everything crossed for you! xxx

I’ve had loads of mild cramps for past few days. Really feels like AF is on its way. I’m convinced it hasn’t worked. But OTD still 3 days away 😱. It’s going to be a tedious few days 😆
