I’ve just seen two lines (albeit faint) for the first time in my life on a pregnancy test.
I say “A” pregnancy test but it’s actually been 3 pregnancy tests 😂 None are with first morning pee - basically my hubby is at the office today for the first time since the transfer & I lost my mind just after he left the house…
To summarise - I peed on an old expired opk test to get the urge out, got a positive, googled opk as hpt (don’t do it) for two hours, zipped to Tesco, bought some tests and peed on the them right away (test sensitivity is 25 IU) - I also drank a vat of tea during this
I also bought and ate a terrys chocolate orange 😑 the nerves were so much 🤞
keeping everything crossed this line progresses 🤞🤞🤞 it’s the first time I’ve ever seen anything like this in 5 years of ttc & 7 transfers

No symptoms. I feel exactly the same as most my other transfers and had started thinking of timelines for my next one. Basically, I just lost my mind for a bit while left to my own devices 🙈 found an OPK when searching for a pessary and i decided to pee on it (given it was out of date, my lunatic logic was like “it’ll mentally prep me for wed when I get my negative”) - I don’t keep HPT in the house for this reason. Xxxx
That looks like a great line especially on a 25iu sensitivity test. Congratulations and positive thoughts for some lovely line progression to put your mind at ease.
that’s a great line for 7dpt - especially on that test which is less sensitive than some! Will keep everything crossed for progression but I think this is a good sign 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
Congratulations! I did something very similar on my successful FET and tested very early (earlier than you, so well done on holding out!) and I don't know why I did it, but I think a Terry's chocolate oragange is an excellent addition to the scenario
Ahhh congratulations 🥰 take encouragement from the fact you have an early positive, and that it isn't from your first pee of the day! The line is normal for the stage you're at. 💓 Fingers crossed this is finally your baby xxxx
Also, I POAS for 4 consecutive days until my OTD, and when I got positive every time, I decided to wait as long as possible before testing again. Managed 4 days 😂 but now building up to a week. Do yourself a favour and test minimally, you see so many people getting worked up about line progression day to day, it isn't worth the anxiety. Just accept and enjoy the fact that you are pregnant. It'll all be ok. X
I wish I’d read this before I’d spent £30 at coop on tests 🤣 took myself to work today otherwise I’d be peeing on sticks & scrutinising them. I honestly thought I’d grown so calm around ivf but this development floored me!
Haha, aww, it's understandable. You. Are. Pregnant! But please don't worry about looking for slight changes in line progression day to day. If you wait a few days you'll likely see a more noticeable progression so you won't drive yourself mad. Best of luck to you and hope this one sticks! <3 xx
Very exciting news and something to look forward to one day happening to all of us ivf warriors! The mental image of an excited woman with a basket load of pregnancy tests and a terry’s chocolate orange has made my week 😂 Keep us updated pls! Xx
Thanks skittles. I’m a bit of a mess tbh 🫠 I’d figured out how to deal with 2ww anxiety but this is something else 😑 My beta was good (275 @ 5dp) & I did a second test y/day so just waiting on results. Then 6 week scan next week. OH has shut down a bit - like he can’t think about me being PG just in case, but obvs I can’t do that! Oh well. Hoping things ease in a while
