My clinic’s protocol included in total 3 Trigger shots in preparation for my fet ! Strange one but it’s fairly conmen for ladies over 40 .. I did 2 pre transfer & I have one more to do tomorrow OTD is 6th Dec … any one else done the trigger like this ?
Obviously it contains Hcg so testing early won’t be reliable .. annoying 🤪
much love to all 💫

My private clinic uses this kind of protocol - so I took buserelin and Ovitrelle before egg collection and then another shot of buserelin the day of my fresh transfer.
When we did a cycle with NHS I only had Ovitrelle and when I told them about the protocol with my other clinic they said that there wasn’t enough evidence for NHS to recommend more than one trigger so I don’t know…
It could be like anything else, there’s probably some evidence to show a marginal improvement in odds and other evidence that says it doesn’t make a difference
in my first fet my doctor back in india did this , say of embryo transfer he gave an Hcg injection supposedly to aid implantation. I was not able to get this done here in Canada , none of my clinics agreed to it . Curious if this helps and any data behind it , I spoke to a naturopathy doctor who can actually prescribe this for me . Preparing for my 8 th fet (ivf cycle 4) next month, this info would be backed by facts and any other experiences
