Up until last year my periods were a regular 28/29 days. I'm currently on day 43 since last period. At the beginning of this cycle clinic found a cyst so that ended this ICIS cycle (mild modified). Friday I went in for a scan/bloods as period was 2 weeks late, which found I was either ovulating or about to so no egg collection this cycle... disappointing. Anyway, been offered one of 2 options. I can wait for period to come naturally or I can take something (Norethisterone) to ensure period comes in 2 weeks.

My mind is thinking well maybe we'll be lucky and naturally conceive so taking Norethisterone might negatively effect a pregnancy. But then I don't want to delay my next cycle as now we're nearing Christmas also I'm not getting any older either.

Anyway has anybody else been in similar situation, what did you do and did it work out? Thoughts also welcome
