Hello Ladies, I am not really someone that post but everyone's journey has serve as motivation for me.

I am currently undergoing my second ICSI protocol and Thursday is my egg retrieval.

This cycle seems long and tiring compare to my first (IVF) and seconday cycle(ICSI).

I am repetiting my third cycle with same clinic I had my second failed cycle and I have been undergoing stimulation since 3rd of my cycle till 14th and I just had my HCG injection(15000i.u) on the 14th day of my cycle at 11:45pm and I am to inject another HCG dose (10000i.u) by 11:45am on my 15th day then 16th day is schedule for retrieval.

I don't think I am going to have OHSS given the length of stimulation but I have been feeling funny (mild headache and now it like I have soar throat)

Has anyone gone through this long and tiring protocol, need motivation as am exhausted.

Thanks and wishing everyone agreat day.

I forgot to add that before my stimulation on the third day of cycle - I was first given prognova for 10days then primoluti for 8days to trigger flow because I am PCOS and don't menstruate regular.

In summary, I have started this cycle for the past 33days - it so long

Hi Fauzytt. Oh dear, I think you need to drink more water to help settle the headache. The medications are a lot for the pituitary gland to cope with. I’m sure it will help. Good luck. Diane

hi Fauzytt I just wanted to wish you all the best of luck ! Your experience sounds lengthy , your body is definitely going through a lot so it is normal to feel tired , keep drinking plenty of water, eat healthy and sleep well. Perhaps try to have short naps or going to bed earlier to help your body xx Hopefully you’re nearly there! Sending you lots of hope and good vibes your way xx
