Has anyone had any experience with varicocele procedures to help with fertility - any positive exerperiences?

My partner had an embolisation procedure done about a month ago. It worked to fix his varicocele and it was a very straightforward procedure. You have to wait 3 months to see any possible changes to the sperm. Happy to keep you posted though! X

Yes! My husband had his varicocele embolised last year and we fell pregnant naturally a few months later. This was after almost 5 years of infertility and 3 failed IVF cycles, so the embolisation is definitely what made the difference for us. If you can afford to go private, I would highly highly recommend Dr Steven Moser. He specialises in varicocele embolisations and was absolutely brilliant xx

yes, worked very well - fragmentation went down from 40%~ to 20%~ and had a successful cycle after it x

yes! My husband had 0% normal forms. We went from not even being suitable for ICSI to being able to have conventional IVF. And fortunately success. X
