I have my son who is 3 by ICSI treatment but I’d love another baby, only thing is we haven’t got £10,000 to spend! What do I do?! Also trying so hard to work out if it’s the best for us, what if it doesn’t work? I literally dream of having another baby it’s tearing me up 😞 not sure what I want achieve with this post, any support would be lovely x

depending on your age some clinics do a multi treatment package with a money back element sometimes and abroad can be a little cheaper. We have also found paying on a 0% credit card and paying that off monthly if you don’t have it all up front can help. For us trying for a sibling has already cost a LOT more than £10k but hopefully one round will be all you need. Good luck xx
All of our treatment was self funded as NHS wouldn’t fund a same sex couple… it’s a lot! We ended up taking out a loan (way back when interest rates weren’t so high) to pay for Access Fertility packages. Gaia looks to have good packages too but think it depends on your fertility history.
Like Twiglet said, a 0% credit card is a good idea and when the interest free period runs out you could always shift it to another 0%.
Hi Paintthesky, I just read your post about Access fertility and can you tell me what clinic offers them? I have had icsi treatment 4years ago and had a son. But now like KirstyC90 I’m planning to have another go self funded as we want another one. But looking at the prices with my last clinic almost 7k for just 1 cycle which is a lot and might not worked for first try. So we are looking for clinics that would let us have multiple cycle and a bit cheaper hopefully. Any advise would be great. I’m in Scotland by the way Glasgow is the closest clinic we can go. Thank you!
We paid for a multi cycle package for baby 2. We were entitled to 2 EC and all transfers within the price, just needed to pay for medication. Spoke to our consultant about doing it rather than PAYG and he said if it takes more than 1 EC and 2 transfers it's worth it, if you're successful on your first transfer you're so pleased it's worked you justify the cost. We had success first time with our second child but doing the multicycle did make it feel like it took the pressure off. Is this something you can look into?
