I had my Embryo transfer yesterday at lunch time and in the evening I got really bad diarrhoea that lasted a couple of hours. I’m assuming it was caused by some of the medication.
I’m now so worried that it will have impacted the embryo negatively. Has anyone else experienced this? Or know if I now have no hope? 😭
thanks!

hey, I had this- although the next morning. It was awful! I went for my progesterone blood test doubled over. I put it down to the diclofenac suppository I had to take before and after in back passage as I’ve just had another FET without it, and felt fine. Unfortunately my FET was not successful but I nothing I’ve read suggests that the tummy trouble was the reason and the nurses doing my blood test were not worried ! Look after yourself and drink plenty of water x
Thank you! Yes I think it was the diclofenac suppository too. Just feel very down about it and hoping all is ok, such a torturous time the 2WW. Good luck to you! x
Hi Foodie! Good luck with your little embryo, fingers cross it sticks! 🤞🏻 I'm sorry you've been poorly, I had similar, all the medicines just played havoc with my tummy. As far as I know as long as you're staying hydrated and are otherwise fine it shouldn't interfere with the implantation process. People can make babies while suffering from IBS, or Crohn's, UC and allsorts. Try not to worry and just take it easy xxx
Thank you! Yeah I guess I hadn’t thought about people with conditions still getting pregnant etc. I think I just have this idea that everything needs to be perfect and really kick myself when they aren’t. 😔
Hi! I wish you the best of luck with your embryo transfer and I hope you get the best of news, the 2ww wait is a nightmare I've just gone through it myself which was successful for me, I have ibs with stomach cramps all the time and it didn't affect the implantation so I think you will be fine xx
