1st FET - BFN

Had a beta test today and it was BFN - I succumbed to the temptation and tested early with urine tests, so I knew what was coming. We weren't expecting for it to work first time, but still disappointing.

Going to plop myself on a balcony and have some bubbles and sushi tonight to commiserate.

Also, just wanted to say that I always find such comfort from this forum ever since our IVF journey started in 2021. Thank you for creating such a safe and inclusive space.

I am so sorry for your negative, I too have had a negative today. I were convinced this time was our time but the test hit me right in the chest.

I just feel so numb. It’s such a tough journey.

That's disappointing, sorry it didn't work. I'm currently in my 2ww, although I secretly tested this morning at 10dpt and it was negative.

I've previously had a miscarriage at 10 weeks so I just didn't feel like it worked this time didn't feel the same as i was when pregnant before.

Official test day is Friday so il continue with meds and test then but I feel better prepared for my husband disappointment to know in advance.

Hey lovely, I'm so sorry you've had to experience miscarriage 😔I think it's wise to keep taking all meds just in case, but I see what you mean in terms of knowing what to expect. Such an emotional roller coaster.

Sorry to hear you have had such an awful experience. It is so difficult. I had an ectopic and I’ve had 2 miscarriages to I do understand.

hi Jinis sorry to hear about your negative result it sounds like you have a good mentality which I think is very important as this journey is so hard! I too experienced my first negative for my first FET like you am trying to be kind to myself and self care but is so disappointing I can’t lie, really wishing everyone on their onward journey hope and success 🤗💛 xx
