Had my first FET yesterday, after my own back-to-back batch freezing cycles in 2021 & my wife's one round of freezing last summer.
A little 4ba frosty from my wife's egg thawed "beautifully" according to the embryologist 🤗
On the other hand... I was supposed to have a full bladder (thought I had!) but on the ultrasound it was apparently empty! I was "nil by mouth" due to going under sedation, so couldn't fill it by downing water, so they had to push 1L of liquid through IV 🤦
Half an our later I was out cold, but then I have a very antiverted uterus, so they couldn't use a normal catheter. The procedure took probably about half an hour because they had to switch to a special catheter.
When I heard this after coming around, I thanked my past self to opt in for sedation. I find cervical screening extremely painful and stressful, and the last thing I wanted was for me to be super stressed running up/during it.
Anyways, a 4ba onboard now and the infamous 2ww starts...
OTD on 7th August🤞

welcome to the 2WW, same test day as me. I also had my transfer yesterday!
How are you feeling?
Glad that they managed to get everything done in the end 😃 my transfer was similar had to change catether too to a bigger one. But I’m the end all went well.
Have you been told to do a urine test on the 7th or a blood test?
Ahhh this makes sense as they’ve told me bloods on the 07th or urine test on the 09th. I might just go for the blood tests.
Oh no really! That’s not good. I hope you feel better soon. Having a cold is the worst.
I’m feeling okay. I had some cramping yesterday pretty much as soon as embyro went in. That’s not uncommon for me tho I’m sure my body just knows something is there. Regardless of if it works or not. Other than that nothing as of yet. I’m a little nervous as it’s my last embyro out of my batch. I do have my precious son from our first embyro from this batch which is lovely. However, I’m hooping to expand and complete our little family.
