Its been a while since I've done a frozen transfer...can't remember if ok to have sex before? I'm having a transfer next Thursday...I know not afterwards and for a good while, fingers crossed! I'm on estrogen starting progesterone tonight.
Thank you

I always did but I did non medicated transfers - I figured why waste an egg and I was happy with the idea of multiples…
That being said I know a triplet mum who conceived triplets this way - frozen transfer of her last embryo and conceived naturally at the same time - one split 😂
we did (with protection), no restrictions there, just to avoid trying to conceive. After transfer they told me no sex for at least 10-14 days. Now I’m curious should we or should we not. We are pregnant and first US is in July so I’ll definitely ask about sex, hubby is worried that it might hurt something but I think it won’t 😅 when is safe to have sex? Someone who can share their experiences? 😅
I read it can actually help with uterine receptivity so we did it the night before with protection- I don’t know if it helped but I’m now 12 weeks pregnant
We did without protection 2 nights before. I've read semen can help modulate the uterine immune response to aid receptivity. Plus increased blood flow to the area is supposed to be good! Good luck! Xx
Same as LittleBlueOwl - it's actually part of the protocol from 2 clinics I used to have unprotected sex as much as you want before transfers, especially in what would be the ovulation window to "convince" the body that all is happening naturally.
My dr has always advised to have unprotected sex before transfer, it is supposed to help the blood flow to the uterus and the semen `feeds` the embryo. Fingers crossed for you!
