Hi Ladies, just wondered for those who have had a natural Miscarriage or medical management how long did it take before your pregnancy tests were negative?? The hospital gave me 2 tests and told me to test 3 weeks after the procedure. I have used one of them today (9 days after tablets) and it's still a pretty strong positive 😩 with my d&c it was negative within a few days. With my ectopics it took 6 weeks to return to 0 and I expected that as nothing had been removed from my body as such as it naturally rejected both, but I thought with 'passing' everything with the tablets that it should also return to 0 pretty quick as was always under the impression that it was the placenta that produced the hcg, so if that's gone then why am I still getting strong positives?? I just find it so cruel. I get upset that I may never see 2 lines again and then I am for all the wrong reasons 😢 I cannot naturally get pregnant as I've had both tubes removed so definitely not a new pregnancy 😢

How long does it take for negative pregnancy test after medical management
Hey, it takes time for your hCG to reduce in your blood/urine after medical management. Everyone is different (some go back to normal quickly and some take a bit longer) and the clinic have you given you the 3 week test date for a reason.....bit like when we get out OTD dates. Hang on in there lovely.xxx
There’s just no simple route for ivf journeys is there? Even when it’s over. Sit tight for the test date from hospital. It can’t be nice at all. Hopefully it’ll happen quick for you and then you can close that door and look at the next set to open xx
I tested after 2 weeks and mine was negative. Sorry I know how hard it is xx
It took me about 6 weeks with my natural mc x
Thanks Dreams. Did the hospital check your hcg or scan you? How quickly did AF arrive after the 6 weeks? Xx
For me it was about two weeks after medical management started x
When I had medical management I had to test 4 weeks after taking the tablets. The first time round it was negative unfortunately my second round of medical management was still positive after 4 weeks so had to have surgery. I'm not trying to scare you, try not to panic maybe it's just too early for a negative. This journey really is horrendous sometimes. Xxx
