Day 6 embryo

Anyone had a day 6 embryo transferred? I have a day 6 embryo which has been frozen and will be having it transferred. I'm worried about the sucess rate due to it being a day 6 embryo

I’ve recently had a day 6 embryo frozen. I asked the embryologist about success rates compared to day 5. She told me she didn’t have a study but could say anecdotally that she hasn’t noticed any difference when it comes to thawing them. She reassured me that some embryos just need a little extra time and she wouldn’t have frozen it if it didn’t have a chance of surviving the feeeze/thaw and transfer etc ✨ xx

My 22 month old daughter was a day6 blastocyst. My day 5 ones have failed. Good luck 🤞 x

Fills me with hope 😊 I'm so happy for you. Both my day 5 embroys have failed, the day 6 is my last embryo. I didn't know what to think at first, I thought it would be poorer quality xx

The embryologist will be able to tell you the grading. It can change after the thaw anyway. The most important thing is that it continues to expand. Slower development at first makes no difference in the end, my daughter was walking by 9 months. You have every reason to have hope x

Hello! I'm currently 17 weeks pregnant with a day 6 embryo. After 6 failed transfer with day 5s. Still anxious but we had never got this far before! I'm always late for everything, so I wanna think my baby is just like me 😍 ha ha! Best of luck! Xx
