Looking for a bit of reassurance in this agonising TWW.
I had a day 2 transfer last weds (with my only embryo) so have one more week to go until I can test.
I was feeling quite hopeful at first but I’ve not really had any symptoms, including no spotting which I know can be a good sign of implantation, so now I’m not sure. Also know it’s really easy to over analyse every twinge/cramp in your body esp during this time! I know not everyone gets symptoms.
No idea if it’s anything to do with the progesterone I’m taking or whether it’s just anxiety but I’ve been having such wild vivid dreams every night.
Would love to hear your experiences during the TWW and any advice welcome!

try not to worry . Having no symptoms means nothing ; not everyone gets them. And implantation bleeding isn’t as common as you think - it’s common enough, but the majority don’t get it. I never did even with my BFPs.
Hello Lis, I can so relate to the worry you're feeling, it's so hard to keep the faith as we want this so much to work so it is only natural that you would second-guess every sensation in your body and yes, the meds certainly don't help to make us less confused. Personally, I have never experienced implantation bleeding in my 2WW with a positive outcome, and symptoms could vary between absolutely nothing to it just feeling like my period was on approach or I had twinges for a few days that got less frequent the closer I got to OTD.
Personally, I tend to manage my anxiety by testing daily as I always prefer to know sooner rather than later but this won't work for everyone, and yes, every time I do this I am reminded of why the clinics tend to very soundly advise to wait until OTD 😄 I always have days in my 2WW where a line is simply not just a line and I worry myself silly over where it could all be going. If you can, try to keep yourself distracted and hold out until next week, I always find the second half goes much more quickly than the first! Thinking of you, you can do it! x
I find this wee timeline helpful in the 2WW to remind me it’s early for anything to be happening. This is is a 5 day embryo so you would add on 3 more days to all of these so I think you would be on day 4 here now (ie day 4 here is your day 7)… as you can see you wouldn’t really be expecting to see bleeding or many symptoms yet (and with my bfp I didn’t get any symptoms really during the 2WW anyways) but this always helps me keep a bit calmer at least for the first 8 days lol 😂 millions of luck to you! 💜🤞🏽
After a blastocyst embryo transfer is completed, it takes about nine days before a pregnancy can be detected. During the days after a transfer, the following happens to the embryo:
Day 1: The blastocyst begins to hatch out of its shell.
Day 2: The blastocyst continues to hatch out of its shell and begins to attach itself to the uterus.
Day 3: The blastocyst attaches deeper into the uterine lining, beginning implantation.
Day 4: Implantation continues.
Day 5: Implantation is complete. Cells that eventually become the placenta and fetus have begun to develop.
Day 6: Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), the hormone that signals a developing pregnancy, starts to enter the blood stream.
Days 7 and 8: Fetal development continues and hCG continues to be secreted.
Day 9: Levels of hCG are now high enough in maternal blood to detect a pregnancy using a blood test.
thank you! Yes I’ve seen this timeline and have kept telling myself this… think I will be so tempted to test on Monday which will only be one day earlier than the clinic told me. Will be very interested to see if I experience any symptoms over the next 4-5 days! Xx
Hi Lis, I am approaching the end of my 2WW, blood test tomorrow, with my one and only embryo and have found the time really hard. Bouts of uncontrollable crying, negativity and then completely switching to being positive and believing it has worked.Distraction is good and helps the time go by.
No dreams for me but lots of over analysing every thing and possible sympton.
It is hard and one of the ladies on hear put it in perspective to me saying, you are a warrior and you are strong.
You got this, thinking of you and sending lots of good vibes and luck
Hi HoneyB11, You’re doing good! You’re half way there! It’s super hard keeping positive and we’re bound to have dips. My only positive result so far didn’t involve implantation bleeding. As for the other symptoms, I couldn’t decide what was medication etc. I had a Day 2 transfer today, so I’m a week behind you! Wishing you loads of luck and sending a hug x 🍀🌸✨🤞
