I just wanted to ask a question about the day of freezing embryos. My embryologist just called me and informed me that our embryos have been frozen on day 4… I have read that embryos are frozen either on day 3 or better on day 5. Does anyone have any idea why she didn’t want to wait till day 5 or 6?
Do you have any experience with a day 4 frozen embryo? I would appreciate any help. Thanks so much and all the best.

If you weren't planning on transferring fresh, maybe she just froze when she thought they were ready? How many were frozen? Were they at morula or blastocyst stage?
I guess morula stage. They were 2. Was it because she didn’t think they would make it to day 5 or was it because today is Saturday and for convenience she didn’t want to work on a Sunday??
They don't freeze them if they don't have a good chance of being viable. I overthink and would be thinking the same. Try to relax now you've got some to wait for 🙏If you really want to know re decision making on whether to bank another round or transfer 1 or 2, ask the embryologist.
They should be able to tell you whether they were M1 or M2 and whether they were starting to exclude cells and if progression to date looked good
But at the end of the day good graded embryos fail and poor ones work, so try to remain positive, relax and have hope xx
