How thin is "very thin"? Are you on a medicated or natural cycle? Sometimes for some women lining issues is a source of infertility and for others their natural lining is thinner than they'd like but they have no problem with implantation.

Hi Angli,

I had issues with lining thickness on a medicated FET. As soon as we tried a natural FET this was no longer an issue. What protocol are you on ? Xx

I had 6.2 around the time they should check, then I was asked to start 2x evorel patches plus the 5 Progynova I was already taking. Then after 5 days increased to 9.8, it was then when I was given the green go to start progesterone for my FET 5 days later.

I’m 42. It was successful as I had a positive.

7 is actually min accepted for transfer at my clinic (they are all different) so not that bad I would say. If you ask them to increase by further 2mg I think you will get a good lining. Good luck 🤞🍀

hi Angli,

That’s interesting that you’ve been told 7mm is thin as that’s what my clinic aim for. I had many issues with thin lining and could never get it past 5mm. In the end my clinic let me go ahead with 4.6 and it was successful!

My clinic used a non- standard protocol to thicken my lining as the oestrogen tablets did nothing at all. I used low dose Gonal F every other day to stimulate one follicle and then my body reacted to the natural oestrogen.

Good luck with it! X

progynova, 3x oral per day and 2x vaginal. Then patches evorel change it every two days and I ate loads of colour vegetables such as a soup of butternut squash, carrot, sweet potatoe and yellow pepper.. I also drank juice w carrot and beetroot. I did 6x sessions of acupuncture leading to transfer. I’m not sure if the latest helped but that’s what I did. Ahh also 800 vitamin E as apparently helps to increase lining. It took longer than expected the transfer. The injections given for 7 after my period helped to hold the cycle for prep. Good luck… talk to yoor clinic about the medication above
