I dont know how many eggs you retrieved but I would be asking about fertilisation and perhaps further sperm testing if you had a few not fertilised? If you didn’t get many eggs then maybe discuss a change of protocol etc.
Maybe ask what further testing they recommend, it’s depends on circumstances and why they feel you haven’t conceived yet I suppose. For example we had implantation testing, sperm DNA drag testing done prior to our next round to cover reasons why we had no fertilisation rate last round and why our embryo didn’t stick round prior to that
Only 3 eggs were mature (out of 6), but I had 14 follicles and healthy AMH - I also have endo, so will ask about the protocol.
I am not sure if NHS do further testing but I will push for it. I feel my clinic aren’t very forthcoming so I’m going to have to push I think and ask as many questions. Thank you for the advice. Good luck to you xxxx
Hi Elsidee, I would ask some specific details about the quality of eggs, sperm and why they think the embryos stopped dividing. They can often tell what the problem might be. If the eggs didn't look mature/good quality they might suggest changing your protocol. If a sperm issue I don't think the NHS tends to investigate further but you can pay privately to see an andrologist for an opinion. Thinking of you xxx
