OHSS advice please

Evening ladies, just wondering if anybody has experienced OHSS? I’ve literally just had my BFN after FET however, these past two days I’ve had constant diarrhoea, cramps, nausea, chills and abdominal swelling. Any advice? Should I ring 111 getting quite concerned now

Sorry to hear about your BFN. Did you use a HCG trigger / booster or anything? Not sure if you can get OHSS on a medicated FET usually. You might have an infection or caught a virus, or something, best check with a doctor if you're concerned. Hope you feel better soon xx

You know as soon as I posted this I thought what am I saying 🙈 I have ovarian cysts so wasn’t sure if the estrogen could cause any irritation

Had a pretty intense transfer so I may have an infection I’m going to call the doctors just to check things out. I didn’t have any hcg this time round no. Thank you xx

hey just came to say the same that in a FET your ovaries are normally not stimulated (in fact sometimes the opposite) so it wouldn’t be OHSS but defo something to check with your clinic. I do sometimes get those types of symptoms before nor during a period after a FET though and they clear in a few days. Hope you feel better soon and sorry about your BFN 💜 xx

I had OHSS after egg collection and our consultant reassured us that there is no risk of it with FET because the hormones reset with your first period after stimulations. Worth talking to your clinic or GP about those symptoms.

Thank you ladies. I think my minds all over thinking of everything. I’m going to see how I get on this morning and ring my gp. Might be all the hormones xx
