I had egg collection on Friday and the nurse said it looked like I could be at risk of overstimulation. I have since been admitted to hospital and receiving treatment. Just wondering if anyone else had suffered and if it affected their transfer?
Thanks Sally x

I have had it and still have very swollen ovaries, I had 24 eggs collected and they didn't delay transfer but that can happen. I am now 13 weeks pregnant and still quite swollen and tender but it's worth it 😘
Hi Se99. Oh dear! Sorry to hear this. However, transfer can sometimes go ahead depending upon how you are. If you're not well enough, then they will store all viable embryos frozen to give you time to recover. I realise that you will extremely upset if there is a delay, but you're the most important one, and you need to be well in order for your embryo transfer. Hope all soon settles. Thinking of you. Thank you Diane, not sure if you can off anymore advice, the doctor has just been and told me I have a positive pregnancy test and they are considering the possibility of an eptopic pregnancy? I explained the HGC trigger shot before egg collection would show positive but they won't rule it out so I need to wait for another test. I'm very confused
Hi Se99. Fingers crossed that it isn't one. The hCG levels should double every 48hrs until it gets t around 10,000, in spite of a triger shot. A slower increase can sometimes indicate an ectopic pregnancy early one, but a vaginal scan would need to be done to verify this. Hope all ends well for you. Diane
All went well, I was discharged from hospital yesterday and in for my transfer today! All seems to have gone well so just see what happens over the next few weeks! Thanks for all your advice x
