London clinics for over 40’s

I hope this is allowed. I’m 41 & been declined NHS rounds. I want to collect a few rounds of embryos asap now & batch-freeze (sounds like cooking doesn’t it). I’m not a wealthy woman but we also really want this so if it is ok to share & people are happy to, I’d love to know people’s experiences with London based IVF clinics & costs. Any packages I see don’t appear to cover multiple “harvests”. Any advice/opinions appreciated.

Hi Darcy1996, I was entitled to only one NHS round. The NHS doctors and nurses were amazing. There was no success but it was a pleasant experience. Then I chose a London based private clinic because they claimed high susscess rate for women over 40+. I had two failed IVFs with them. My experience was shockingly bad. I will PM you the name so if you are considering this clinic you can learn from my lessons. x

I’d really appreciate that, thank you and sorry you had a bad experience. I’m not eligible for anything from the NHS in my area, but I also don’t have the c £35-40k I might need for some clinics so it’s v scary

We have used a multi cycle package as was the most cost effective way but they don’t allowing freeze all unless you pay a surplus. Everyone is different but so far we have had many unsuccessful cycles You also have to factor in medicine cost on top. Best of luck x
