Meds on plane

hi , 🙈, my brother in law is coming over and I asked him to bring me some meds with a medical prescription. I don’t know if he should be fine going though the security with the meds ( syringes and needles including) . He will have a medical letter with him saying that are for me . It is more safe to get a cabin language or a hand language? Like if he just show the prescription and meds that are for someone else will let him through? Did anyone got meds like this ?

I've travelled back from Cape Town with a bag of meds and syringes - most went in hold bag then a smaller amount in hand luggage for journey and to cover me in case hold bag got lost - I had a letter but never needed to show it, no one blinked at any of it so I think he'd be absolutely fine

I echo that! I travelled recently to Spain and had my injections in my hand luggage in a ziplock bag. And a doctor’s note and a prescription. I wasn’t asked about them so your brother should be fine.
