didn’t really have high hopes for a BFP on this last embryo (day 6 hasn’t fully expanded after thaw). Tested this morning (10dp6dt) and there was a super faint line. Waiting for the inevitable.
This will be my 3rd miscarriage in a year (one at 10 weeks and 2 chemicals). I’ve already done a thrombophilia screen and I’ve taken Clexane this round for it. Any other tests anyone would recommend? My doctor didn’t seem interested in ERA because the embryos have been implanting. Don’t know where to go from here but it’ll probably be a new fresh round because we have no embryos left.
Many thanks in advance for any suggestions/recommendations.

I’m so sorry your going through this 😢 I hope your ok this journey is so hard.
We had 2 bfn then 2 chemical I got the era after this (doc said i didn’t need it but I was doing Alice and Emma anyway) it came back saying I needed an extra day of progesterone I’m now 13 weeks.
I also got the embryos pgd tested.
I was put on steroids incase of high nk cells. I was also on clexane and aspirin. 2 prolutex a day and estrogen.
I would advise to get the era alice and Emma and pgd the embryos. We wouldn’t be where we are without it xxx
hi boo, thank you so much for this. My new clinic has advised pretty much everything that you have done so I’m really glad it’s worked for you. I’ll have to abandon my existing doctor who’s pretty set in her ways and go with the new clinic. I always wondered about embryo abnormality as well, so looks like it’s the right thing to do esp with my age (40). Thanks again, wishing you a healthy pregnancy xx
Why do you think it’s a chemical with a faint line on d10? (This is my first round of IVF so I’m still not sure about it all… )
I think it’s because I just had a chemical in September with a faint line around this time. Lines this far along the tww tend to be much darker to be considered viable (blood tests pending of course). Faint lines at this late stage are not a good sign unfortunately, means the hcg isn’t picking up as it should. Also I felt the embryo implant from day one so it should’ve continued the process and to grow over the next few days.
Nonetheless my doctor asked me to do a blood test to confirm, so I’ve just had it done. I’m bracing myself for a chemical though. Will do another home test shortly.
Here if you have any questions - IVF can be very confusing when you’re just starting. All the best xx
