Hi guys, I gone for privet treatment again and today was my egg collection, the doctor collected 17 eggs, only 12 were suitable for fertilisation . I have low AMH.

I am having pain in my Utrus and Ovaries and also have strong constipation& my stomach is so bloated.

I am using hot water bottle but I am not sure if I should .

Did any one had similar symptoms?

12 mature eggs is an amazing number- well done!

Yes to having the same pain and symptoms, remember your ovaries have been punctured likely 17+times with a big needle.

I found for 24 hours after collecting a similar amount of eggs that I had to take paracetamol and codine (no analgesics allowed) and even that’s couldn’t get rid of the pain, but it did subside after a day or so. Hot water bottles did help. Although this is just my experience, so if something doesn’t feel right-call the clinic’s out of hours number.

Good luck! X

With that number of collected eggs, it could be OHSS. Hot water bottle definitely helped me. Also, protein shakes or yoghurts to help absorb any excess liquid and sports drinks with electrolytes to balance you. I hope it passes soon but do talk to your clinic to get yourself checked.

You say "only 12 were suitable for fertilisation" but 12 is an amazing number and especially with low AMH. I am amazed that someone with low reserve can get 17 eggs, 12 of which are capable of fertilisation. Hot water bottles I believe can be used up until transfer of embryo but never after x

Hi Skittles,In my first cycle the doctor collect 3 eggs and formed 3 embryos grade A day 3

In the second cycle the doctor collected 3 eggs formed 3 embryos grade A day 3

In my fourth cycle the doctor collected 6 eggs and formed 6 embryos grade A day 3

The doctor transfered 4 embryos and sadly it was failed cycle .

Then I went to another clinic and the doctor told me we will follow the same protocol you had in the previous clinic to stimulate your ovaries, which was low does medication. 150 menopure and 150 gonal pen.

In day 6 of the stumilation, he said he can see 7 eggs ,I carried on the treatment and in day 11 he said I can see 12 good size eggs. On the same night I took the trigger shot and went for collection on day 13.

Surprisingly, he said we collect 17 and 12 of them suitable for fertilisation.

I am really happy ,but now he will leave them to day 5 .

Now he is asking me to do scane on my utrus and asking for the prolactin hormon test to make sure everything is fine.

Let's hope first I will have 3 days 5 embyos.

If its successful, we will do the transfer next cycle .

My prolactin hormonal before was 67,and he said this can cause my icse to fail and might be the cause of my previous failer too.

Sorry for my long story.lol
