estradiol / Progynova spotting

Hey

Just wondered if anyone has experienced spotting on Estradiol. It says it can be a side effect and I had small amount today.

Just wondered if anyone else had experienced this!?

I have. Last cycle I started spotting and cramping while on oestrogen tablets and unfortunately we had to abort the embryo transfer as my lining couldn't get to 7mm. They induced my period and started again and I started spotting yesterday again. I'm not sure if this is normal or not, but unfortunately it wasn't good news for me last cycle, just hoping it will be different this time... All the best to you! X

Ah ok thank you! I had a scan Monday and my lining seems on track 🙏🏽 got another one Friday… I will tell them then about the spotting I think anyway. That’s what I’m worried about that it’ll effect the transfer scheduled for next week!!

Hi Bonaire. it could be a side effect of oestradiol. Always keep a look out for any infection and make sure you drink plenty of water. Good luck! Diane
