Irregular lining thickness/scan question

During my last (bfn) FET, the dr at my day 10 scan mentioned that an area of my lining was thicker than the rest. She wondered if I’d developed a polyp due to a recent medically managed miscarriage (I had an MVA) but then brushed it aside saying no no it’s fine to go ahead. I’m just wondering because I can’t find anything about this online. Has anyone else had similar and know what caused it? Maybe I’m worrying over nothing but I’m just interested and keen to know in case it happens next time. This will be our last shot so I’d rather cancel transfer if needed.

My clinic don’t offer baseline scans anymore. Am I being naive in thinking the normal trans vaginal scan they do would show any polyps/things of concern or would I need a different type? Xx

I have had it where a sonographer has struggled to measure my lining because it was not all consistently the same thickness. She just measured it at the thickest point and did not mention anything about polyps or concerns. If you are worried no harm in phoning and asking for a detailed explanation to help reassure you

Thanks Skittles - maybe quite normal then. You’re right, I would have asked at the time but was just relieved when she said we’d go ahead!
