immunology protocol

Hi

I’ve recently had my natural killer cells and inflammation tested, which were both high.

My clinic don’t provide immunology testing so I have been doing this via a doctor in Italy who has provided me with a prescription and protocol. I’m having huge issues with the logisitics of things, the prescriptions are taking at least 3 weeks to arrive from Italy (not helped by customs issues after we left the EU and current postal strikes) and the dr doesn’t really listen to my concerns and rarely responds to my emails. I don’t know what medication I’m supposed to be taking when, we keep having to delay treatment due to issues with the prescriptions and I’m just finding the whole thing extremely stressful.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? How did you cope with it all?

Can anyone private message me with recommendations of clinics/doctors, ideally UK based, who can provide me with an immunology protocol? I’ve already done the tests and want to do my embryo transfer at my current Clinic so looking for someone who can provide a protocol to run alongside that.

Thanks, Alice

Hi Ah46

I’m on immune protocols which include intralipid infusions administered at my clinic as well as prednisolone. I have inflammation and high NK cells. Did your Italian doctor order the Chicago tests? Whereabouts are you based? There are definitely clinics that can support in the UK

hi HemBella

Thanks for your reply.

I based in the North East England. I’m struggling to find any clinics in the area the offer immune protocols, which is ideally why I would like to remain at my current clinic (based in Darlington) to do the embryo transfer and then have the immune protocol run alongside that. The logistics are certainly tricky whatever option I go with!

Yes I’ve had the Chicago tests. We have discussed a protocol starting with Humira to bring the inflammation down and then clexane, intralipids and prednisolone like you.

I find it all quite complicated, especially coordinating it all with my current clinic. Perhaps I just need to persevere and keep on at the doctor to give me answers.

How are you finding our protocol? I hope it is successful for you 🤞🏻 Xxx
