Pregnancy test too early ??

Ladies, I took a pregnancy test yesterday 6 days after et. It was negative 😞 do I still have hope was it to early ? Xxx

that's too early to test. Best to wait a week after a period still doesn't arrive.

This doesn’t necessarily apply to an ivf round, as your period after ivf can be held back due to taking progesterone. Best plan is to test on the day the clinic identifies as best test day.

I tested 3 days before my period was due and got a negative only to get a positive on OTD. Try to stay positive. X

my period was supposed to be on 4th of this month but the injections etc changed it so don’t know when I would be due on ? X

To early defo hun also some tests can show a false positive leading to disappointment when day 14 comes and it may be a negative after all the 14 day wait I heard is really hard and that many re tempted to test early but waiting till Dr recommended date is defo best , Good luck x

Im a serial tester and test from 4dp5dt so know how you feel. I like to know whats going on if anything and then prepare for the worst. I find the stress of not knowing is worse than a negative early on. (as you know it could become positive up to OTD) Also it confirmed a chemical pregnancy on one of my rounds and I wouldn't have known If i hadn't tested early. not saying you should as everyone is different but for me I prefer it. I didn’t get my BFP until 8DP5DT, and even then it was really light. My HCG was 5 when they did the blood test ( at 9DP5DT) which was really early. Thankfully my HCG levels have been increasing, but don’t lose hope. I did and just threw the stick away, until DH went into the bin and saw a very faint line. Keep strong xx
