Anyone had better success with frozen transfer?

Hi I’m just wondering if anyone had failed fresh attempts but got success with frozen? I’ve heard one school of thought suggesting that sometimes the body doesn’t receive embryos well after egg collections and all the stims but after a break from meds and frozen embryos transferred the body can accept the embryo better as it’s a calmer environment.

Any thoughts on this please?

Hi LittleT. This often the case, and we don't always know why. Others here will tell you of their experiences I'm sure. Hope all goes well for you and you get the success you need. Diane

It may be a coincidence in my case, who knows, but I had a failed fresh transfer and a successful frozen transfer. You can read more on my profile!

I had a failed fresh embryo with the best grade from the cycle and the first FET was successful with the lower grade and gave us our miracle baby after 12years of TTC

I had 2 fresh transfers which failed and then had a frozen transfer and it was a success. These were back to back so i had no break in between, and this was in 2019.

We had 6 blasocysts left so just did a frozen transfer a few months back which failed (i was stressed out with the toddler so knew it didn't work) and then had second transfer and currently 18 weeks pregnant with the second.

My body I don't believe was ever going to accept a fresh transfer, i needed the body to be forced to accept it, which is what happens with a frozen transfer.

this was same for me. Fresh failed then our frozen was successful. I saw someone say think of the first cycle as preparing your body and seeing how many embryos you get. My fresh cycle had a better graded embryo too.

I had a fresh transfer which resulted in a miscarriage at 7 weeks. I am currently 29 weeks pregnant with a frozen transfer. My fresh cycle was also a better grade than my frozen.

I also had 3 IUI fresh transfers before moving to IVF, one resulting in a miscarriage at 7 weeks and the other 2 unsuccessful.

I had never even thought that a frozen maybe more successful for whatever reason. A very interesting trail of thought.

Sending you all the hope! 💜

I had a chemical pregnancy with my fresh transfer, then have been successful with 2 subsequent frozen transfers (my toddler and current pregnancy). I do feel like my fresh transfer was a like a 'practice run' and my body was much more accepting and under less stress / hormone confusion with the frozen transfers. Good luck x

From my research I've noticed that it used to be that fresh were "better" but in time they've become almost the same.
