I had my embryo transfer on the 16th of this month and wondering if anyone had a successful transfer without any ultrasound during the transfer? I was under the impression they are going to do it under ultrasound just to be sure. But that was not the case for me. Just looking for some reassurance. xx

Hi, I had my transfer on the 15th and the nurse used an ultrasound - but they would always confirm with the embryologist that the embryo has been transferred so wouldn’t worry too much x
Hi luckyyii , I’ve had period like cramps, some inconsistent lower back pain, fatigue and bloating. Not sure if these mean anything and if the progesterone I’m taking causing the symptoms. But I’m trying to not look too much into it and staying positive.
What about you, have you had any symptoms? When is your pregnancy test? xx
Oh yes, the process is so hard and difficult and an emotional rollercoaster. But I don’t know how I found positivity finally now, during this wait. I had acupuncture before and after the transfer and I think that has helped a lot to calm the stress level down. My husband is around because we’re in Tier 4 and he’s a huge distraction which has helped as well. All I can say to you hun, is please do not look too much into anything and keep away from the web as much as you can. Watch something that’ll make you laugh I’ve started watching Friends from S1. If you have any concerns ask your partner to look into that so that you’re not affected by anything adversely on the web. Just know you’ve done your absolute best and you are still doing everything you can. Worrying won’t make things happen, meditate and relax if you can. I’m sending positive thoughts to you. I hope and pray that both of our embry’s are with us in 9 months time. ❤️❤️❤️
Hi my clinic don’t use ultrasound at all. I’ve had a couple of BFPs that haven’t worked out for various reasons - my clinic has higher than average live birth rates so it clearly isn’t an issue! Good luck x
Hello, I had my transfer on the 3rd of December and also the nurse used an ultrasound and after the transfer the doctor showed me on the screen where the embryo was, which was super small and he even took a picture and gave it to me, I thought it was very sweet. But not to worry it must have gone great for you, besides its super small and hard to see. I hope in two weeks you get a positive pregnancy test.
Hi MeliWeb , my transfer was really uncomfortable and a bit painful. The Dr. Did say everything went smoothly but I was so stressed afterwards. I just hope everything is in the right place and I get a positive on the 27th. I hope everything is going great for you. xx
Hey! yes the transfer is very uncomfortable as my bladder was very full I think I went overboard when they told be to go in with a full bladder. During the whole process I was just thinking how badly I wanted to go to the bathroom. I had my pregnancy test on the 14th of Dec and it was positive :)...but then last sunday nearly at 5 weeks pregnant I started to bleed, it was really scary...I told the doctor and he seemed really relaxed and told be it is very common in IVF pregnancies, due to a hormonal imbalance so he prescribed a progesterone injection and to not move for 48h which magically did the trick. Then I went in for a scan on Tuesday and all looks great, I still have to take it easy and continue with the injection but thankfully the bleeding has stopped. Looking forward to hearing its heart on my scan in Jan when I will be 7 weeks pregnant.
That’s all I was worried about during my previous transfers was when I could go and pee!! I know it’s good to have a distraction but didn’t think that was a good one! I have another in early jan so definitely not going in with as full a bladder as last time!
