Sorry for the long post.I got my bfp on 7dp3dt.We were over the moon as this was our second ivf transfer(1st double transfer failed) and a miscarriage in May 21.On 13dp3dt my beta was 831 and on 17dp3dt hcg was 4354.We were over the moon with the result. A week(5weeks)after my first beta I got a dull ache in my uterus(have been having it for over a week but got more intense)called EPU and they said to come up.Sac could be seen and measured exactly 5 weeks which would be correct based on my last period and the doctor was happy.Hcg was also measured and came back at 12,400.Again delighted however hcg 48 hours later had only risen to 15,015.Nurse didn’t say much just that it had risen, doctor didn’t want to do any more bloods and they would book me in for another scan next week.I feel that all hope is lost.I know from googling it says that once hcg reaches over 6,000 it can take over 96 hours to double.Have i any hope or am I just clutching at straws???😢

**Update**Just incase anyone reads this in the future we had our scan today and all went well.Baby measuring exact for dates with a healthy heartbeat🥰🥰

your HCG does sound about right and the doubling can slow down at that stage like you said, the scan really is the only way to tell what’s going on but I defo think you should have reason for some hope there. Wishing you all the best and hoping for good news for you xxx

Hi Gerbear. I can fully understand your anxieties, but you are due for your scan soon, so look forwards to that, and hopefully your little bean's heartbeat will be ticking away to reassure you. Good luck! Diane
