Hi guys just want to ask any tips for preparing second cycle of egg retrieval. My first one got 9 eggs but only 4 made it to blast.Send 4 to PGS testing,2 are abnormal and 2 were not tested because according to my doctor they were too small and they didn't know if the embryo can survive. So we transfer the 2 untested embryo and unfortunately it doesn't stuck. Now I just want to move on and prepare for my second cycle.Any tips on improving my eggs on second retrieval?Vitamins?food?Sorry for the long post.Any recommendation is very much appreciated.☺️

First cycle failed
hi,
Sorry to hear about your cycle. I also want/need to improve my egg quality. Mr Google says protein, being active (for blood flow) drinking water. I see someone put about the vitamin coq10 but I would ask your clinic.
When are you doing another cycle? Xx
I'm still waiting for my period. As soon as possible,I don't want to waste time as I have lots of delay already on ny first transfer because of high E2 and covid -19.
hopefully it arrives soon. I’m waiting for my period so I can start a new round. Don’t know if I will try the vitamins though as the side effects sound horrendous! 🙈🤷🏻♀️
Xx
I guess we just have to deal with the side effects if we want a better result🙂.I get anxious/depression from all the meds and PIO shot i've been taken before and after my transfer and I always tell myself that it will get better soon. And i'm not the only one dealing with infertility.
I just bought some of those vitamins. The nurse called me and said that the side effects don’t happen to everyone and sound worse than what it is x
This is what my clinic says regarding the Coq10
Coenzyme Q10 200mg once daily for 14 days and then reduce to 100mg once daily
What is it for CoQ10 is a biomolecule that is present in every cell. It is a potent antioxidant that protects cells (eggs/sperm) by decreasing the damaging effects of oxidative stress. It also plays a major role in cellular energy production (mitochondrial activity). As such, CoQ10 supplementation has been associated with an improvement in egg/sperm quality, and overall pregnancy rates.
When to start Ideally, 3 months prior to starting treatment.
When to stop Day of egg collection.
Side effects Abdominal pain, loss of appetite, nausea/vomiting, diarrhoea, headache, dizziness, insomnia, fatigue, rash, itchy skin and irritability/agitation.
Natural sources Meat, fish, nuts, beans, vegetable/sesame oil, dairy products, fruit, vegetables and cereal.
