As many of you know, it’s been quite the journey for us. We started TTC in June 2019, fell pregnant with our 3rd transfer in July 2021 but our beautiful baby boy Rory was born too soon in October 2021 at 16 weeks and 3 days and didn’t get to stay 💔🦋✨
In February 2022 we had our 4th transfer and fell pregnant. I was admitted to hospital at 30 weeks with pre-eclampsia and our miracle baby and Rory’s little sister, Annie, was born at 32+6 on 5 September. 🥹💕🙏🏻🌈 she was born weighing 4lbs 2oz, with a full head of hair and a mischievous attitude. One midwife has described her as a “wild one” for her relentlessness and willingness to try and pull any tube connected to her 😆
I’m posting this to give others hope. Bringing Annie into the world has been my biggest challenge and greatest achievement. Infertility is hard, baby loss is hard and pregnancy after loss is hard. But now, looking at my daughter, I am so glad we carried on.
Annie has a bit of growing to do in NICU but is a little superstar and doing so well ✨ our hearts could burst.
Leaving this quote about grief and hope for other loss mummy’s and daddy’s to read. My inbox is always open for a chat ❤️❤️

Such a huge congratulations to you. We enter this 'journey' not knowing what lies ahead and just hoping that at the end of it we get our longed for baby. Little do we know or even imagine what could possibly happen inbetween the start and ends of this chapter for us all. I wouldn't wish infertility and all that can go with it on anyone, however I truly believe without it, we wouldn't gain such understanding and strength that we are forced to aquire. All the best for you and your beautiful family ❤️
Sending huge congratulations on your precious rainbow baby Annie , Your angel baby Rory will always be watching over his family giving you strength along the way.
You have been through so much, baby loss grief is unbearable and sometimes feeling hopeful is not an option it takes so much from us,I can imagine it was very difficult to battle through including having to go through further fertility treatments and pregnancy after loss. Also having pre eclampsia with baby Annie must have been very worrying, this is what took our precious daughter from us in September 2021 so I know how serious it can be.
I am so pleased to hear your happy news, it gives me hope seeing stories like yours.
Wishing you and your family good health & happiness xxx
