*Sensitive* HCG levels

Hi all,

I can't believe I'm saying this but after our 3rd cycle we finally got our BFP last week. Last time we thought we did it was a chemical so as you can imagine I'm a little bit cautious this time. I've done about 6 tests but our early scan isn't for another few weeks and my clinic doesn't offer blood test before this. Is there anything you can buy for at home that tells you what HCG levels you are at?

Thanks for reading and sending love to everyone on this journey

hiya congratulations! if you go onto medichecks, they do HCG tests, but you want to order two,, so you can see it double over 48 hours if that makes you feel any better

Hi, congratulations!

My clinic also doesn’t do hcg levels, however I requested this from my doctors and they got me in and did them due to it being an ivf pregnancy.

It may be worth asking! X

Oh wow! Congratulations! My gp did my levels for me because of my background. But medichecks are also really reliable. Xx

Controversial and really depends on whether clearblue is accurate for you or not but I used to test daily until i would see the change from 1-2 to 2-3 - for me they were always amazingly accurate as I often had blood test levels alongside them

Congratulations! Try a clear blue weeks indicator as Ivfgotadream suggests or a private gp should be able to do the hcg test if you can’t get in at your nhs one x

I'd also look at London Medical Laboratory, I think slightly cheaper than medichecks and exactly the same service londonmedicallaboratory.com...

I'd be wary of mixing labs though, if you're doing 2 tests for comparison make sure to use same lab for both X
