It maybe implantation bleeding but only a test will tell you.

Please dont take this the wrong way but, I think your post would be better suited for mumsnet or countdown to pregnancy. This is more for people who have been trying for years and waiting/undergoing fertility treatment.

Good luck on your journey x

Sorry - had to delete the picture as it is not a suitable post for this site . As 1st post says maybe mumsnet or take a look at nhs.uk Trying to get pregnant and also our website fertilitynetworkuk.org Good luck for the future

it should be made more clear that this page is only for people getting ivf or fertility treatments and that anyone who is struggling due to pcos etc isn’t welcome, as the group is only called fertility uk it’s a very easy mistake to make

I dont think this group is only for ivf. I think it's for everyone with infertility issues. it's used predominantly by people who have ivf though. I guess that your age made people mistakenly think that you've only started trying? But people of all ages have infertility. Anyway my advice would be to test on the first day of your missed period to find out although with pcos I understand it can be difficult to know when periods are not regular. Also, implantation bleeding is not very common. For most people it doesn't happen. If you have already been trying for two years then your GP maybe can start investigations and referrals. With being 20 years old you are at a good position as many areas have age limits for accessing NHS funded treatment.

I hope the GP can help! All the best!

thank you for your comment, i have been trying for 2 years now i know i’m very young to have been trying that long but with my pcos diagnosis and knowing how difficult it can be to conceive with pcos i wanted to start trying young as i’ve always wanted to be a young mum, i’ve had 2 miscarriages also very early on though, if my comment came across rude it wasn’t meant to i just felt as though anyone with fertility issues should be able to comment not just people going through ivf treatments etc x

Your comment wasn't rude at all. I've seen some users posting pictures with their scans at 12 or 20 weeks and some users posting pictures with their newborns and nobody saying anything and not sugesting them to go on another group or platform. I think those things hurt more that your question.

I think those users photos should be banned after 8 weeks of pregnancy and the newborn ones too because many of us lost more than a pregnancy and those things are very offensive and triggering.

I don't think we should favour some users more than others. We're all struggling to get pregnant and bring home a living baby. But if one of us is lucky enough, she should think at the rest of us and not start throwing baby pictures all over the place.

They all jumped at conclusion giving your age but nobody asked you what's your problem and why at 22 you're trying for 2 years to get pregnant.

I don't want to be rude but this is my opinion after what have I seen here in a year of been on this group.

thank you so much for your reply, i have been trying for 2 years now as i have pcos and i know the fertility problems that can come with pcos, then after having 2 losses it made me want to be a mum even more, i just feel as though some people in these comments could have went about all this a nicer way instead of just coming and shaming me for my post/ comment,we are all in the same situation and all deserve help and advice not just women who are going through ivf.

I also have Pcos, lost 2 pregnancies after 2 ivf transfers. I ovulate and have regular cycles in the last 2 years thanks to Metformin but our problem is my husband's swimmers. So we have 0% chances of conceiving naturally.

No the comment wasn't rude. Don't worry about it. I am sorry about your miscarriages.

I have heard that with PCOS the fertility peaks a little later in life in comparison with women without pcos. I am not sure if it's true. Also everyone I know with PCOS has managed to achieve a pregnancy and a baby either naturally or with ivf, i am not a doctor but pcos on its own shouldn't be the end. If you are managing to get pregnant but sadly miscary then maybe you should look into recurring miscarriage investigations.

Hi there, from experience the only way to know if it’s implantation bleeding is if you get a positive pregnancy test 48 hours after the bleed. Wishing you all the best x
