I wont go into the gory details as it was a pretty traumatic labour and delivery that thankfully made way for the appearance or our beautiful boy (named tbd) born 10/10/2020 at 11.52 AM weighing 8lb1oz. Baby is perfect and can be discharged as soon as I can (edited as my sleep deprived self clearly couldnt string a sentence together 😂)
Came home after 24 hours, as I'm writing this I'm sat with my 3 day old is just absolutely perfect and my entire world. I cannot for you ladies to experience this and witness your own bundles of joy ❤

Oh wow amazing news hun. I'm so happy for you. Congratulations. He's such a lovely healthy weight. My son was born 10 days earlier and weighted a whole 2lbs less! Being a nurse and pregnant during this pandemic must have been hard for you but you did it! You fulfilled your dreams. Enjoy every second of motherhood
Hes been measuring ahead throughout and was initially expected to be 9.4 but then his growth tailed off between 36 and 39 weeks and was estimated to be 8.2 a few days before my induction so not far off really. This chunk only just fits in newborn (and that's dependant on where they are from Haha) but he looks tiny to me 😂. Yeah it's been a whirl wind of a year! I'm just looking forward to feeling physically better now and enjoying this sweet boy ❤❤ thank you x

Aw, congratulations! You deserve this. Enjoy every moment! I too had a traumatic birth and it feels so unfair doesn’t it after everything we’ve been though to get this far. But for me, the newborn cuddles and just the knowledge that he was finally here made it all worth it x

Honestly, I feel fortunate that I'm not bothered by the birth as the fact he is here is enough for me and I never planned or anticipated anything I just don't want to worry those still on their journey Haha x
