possible sign of OHHS

today I had extreme severe pain in stomach all of a sudden. This is 2 weeks after embryo transfer. Doctors said possible OHHS or Ectopic as they cannot see anything in uterus. Could this be because it’s too early? (4 weeks pregnant) the pain went after the doctors gave me Paracetamol IV drips, has anyone had this before?

Hi, the only time I had bad pain was before my transfer but it was more of a bloated pain but I found it difficult to walk or move as I was so uncomfortable.. at transfer date we found out the reason for the pain was due to taking the progesterone injections twice a day instead of only once. Different hormone levels could be the reason for the pain? 4weeks does seem early, fingers crossed for you xx

Thank you for the reply, did this happen again or did it just get better? Mine has not come back after yesterday. I’m taking progesterone injections once. Hopefully it’s all ok. 🤞🏼

The pain only happened the once and it was fine after I started taking the progesterone once a day x

I’m taking the injection and progesterone pessaries 4x a day too. The pain came back again after the shot.

Speak to your clinic and see what they say and check your dose is correct. I was in pain and really uncomfortable due to me having two injections whereas I should have only been taking one. Hope you feel better and not in pain soon xx

Have you had an ultrasound done to rule out any fluid in the abdomen?

I have had scans done and it does show some fluid 💕
