Am I low on Progesterone levels?

hello,

So I finished my first IVF cycle last month with a BFN sadly (previously had four IUI one resulting in miscarriage)

Im generally quiet a negative person, I have positive moments and very much cope and live a happy life But after taking Progesterone last month a fog lifted, my mood was more tolerant more open and cheery, things which would have usually sent me in a spiral made me laugh and I just shook it off.

does this mean my hormones levels were more balanced, better when taking the progesterone?

When I came off them after the cycle being unsuccessful I was blank, I’ve been through loss already I know the score but this time it wasn’t the ‘it’s not worked again’ it was more - I felt empty and sad and blank… emotionless and abit dead behind the eyes.

Should I be seeing a Dr about this? Or would adjusting my hormones now effect my next cycle negatively?

I think the only way you know re progesterone is a blood test tbh. I was told mine was low because I started bleeding very early in the cycle (day 3) very heavily and so now have injections as well as pesseries. Best of luck x

Thank you. Our clinic is very under staffed so the nurses line is regularly off. Super fustrating as each cycle looms and I’m always worried I’ll miss another month. I’ll try them again today

Hi liftinglady. See if you can get in touch with your clinic before the weekend. However, not having any "feelings" could mean that your hormones are happy and managing on their own just now. Good luck! Diane
