Help with dates

I’ve just got my period meaning I will have a scratch at the start of September then start down regulating with the start of my next period - due 10th Sept. When looking at dates (if successful with the fresh cycle) it actually works out that the 7 weeks (for viability scan) from my next period is before the official test day would be!

So..I’ve looked at my past cycles and worked out the time frame from official test day to 7 week scan and applied it that way but there’s obviously a big difference between the two dates. Does anyone know what I need to do other than wait and see 😂 I can’t possibly do that 🤣 I’m guessing it’s because I’m using a past frozen cycle where as the next one will be fresh and therefore more stages between period and transfer.

Hi Alwaysbelieving. When you have your embryo transferred, it is assumed you are two weeks pregnant and is worked out from there. Good luck! Diane

Fab thanks Diane. Also I’ve just had a call from my clinic and the nurse said the scratch should take place on day 21 of my cycle but when I’ve checked it is booked in on day 23. Should I call back or is it ‘from’ day 21 that it is effective? Thanks again
