I was just wondering when anyone got their period following provera? I’ve had 10 days of 10mg which stopped Monday. I am suppose to start stims on Saturday morning but only if I’ve had a bleed which is yet to make an appearance.
I’m trying not to overthink it but it’s really starting to stress me out 🫠

I’m mid way through the stims phase of my first cycle and I was on provera last month. My period came bang on schedule (I.e. when I was still taking provera!).
Cue total freak out as I had a polyp removed the weeks before and I was convinced I had an infection. Rang the clinic and they said the used to use NET but since they switched to provera people’s cycles are all over the shop.
Realise that’s not a totally helpful story but just to say I think the ideal ‘3-5 days’ is a total myth with provera and it could be at any point (including during the pills!) so try not to let it worry you too much.
Oh also, second one from me. I wasn’t sure what counted as CD1 as it was a bit of a weird bleed. Went for baseline at CD 3 and my lining was 9mm! Was told it should be 2-3 but I could start at less than 6. Went back to the clinic 14 hours later for another scan and it was 4.5mm so we were good to go. I didn’t even know it could change that much in such a short period of time so please also don’t be worried if you can’t exactly pinpoint CD1!
I’ve rang them this morning and left a message and hoping they will give me some insights as to what happens if it doesn’t come as I have been told specifically I can’t start stims tomorrow if I haven’t bled. They aren’t doing any scans or anything on me at this stage (which I’m not overly happy about) so I have no idea what I’m supposed to do! Thanks so much for replying to me, good luck with your stims! Hope you have a great round 🤞🤞🤞 xx
Don’t worry about the start of stims being delayed. I know it’s frustrating but a few days won’t make a difference. Fingers crossed these mis behaving bleeds turn up. We had to cancel a sailing trip move my husband’s 40th birthday drinks as the 10 days extra that provera was meant to buy is disappeared with my cd26 period 😂.
I get it’s worrying having such erratic time lines but try not to let it stress you out. Best of luck. X
Try not to stress about it everyone reacts differently. My second cycle I started stims over a week later than planned due to my bleed being late it didn't effect anything just had to wait a little long to start stims. Good luck
Thank you! I didn’t know if the whole cycle was going to get cancelled as they didn’t tell me but I’ve spoken to the clinic today and said the dates will just be adjusted which has definitely calmed me down a bit. Thanks for your reply 🤗
