As always, thank you xx

Hey lovely, sorry you are at number six. I also had six egg collections and I’ve found it’s had long term impacts on my body, like I get really painful ovulation and they say that’s due to scarring on my ovaries. But then I do have an inaccessible ovary and did bleed quite a lot after EC. Having said that I probably would have done a seventh if I thought there was hope but due to my age etc I was told to go donor after my sixth fresh round.
I think I have been unlucky with my scarring and I think it depends on how many eggs and embryos you get, quality, outcome etc
Feel free to PM me if I can help at all xx
I wish I knew the answer to this. I have had 5 egg collections and still no living child. My sixth egg collection was cancelled at the weekend. I sometimes think about the impact on my poor body, pushing it and pushing it and pushing it to its limit. Scary feelings. Good luck xx
I worry as well. I’ve had 5 egg collections and considering a 6th… I hate all the drugs and the possible long term effects they may be having on my body… if I do a sixth it will ABSOLUTELY be my last… I can’t keep doing it to my poor body
I've done 5 😐
I had 6 to get my little rainbow. I've had no long term effects at all from having so many (she's 20 months now). In fact, I would go again for a sibling if I had the spare money 🤣 decided we would spend the money on her instead though.
Good luck, hope it's 6th time lucky for you too 🤞🏻🙏🏻 xx
I've done 4 fresh cycles plus a cycle that has just been cancelled meaning I have had all the drugs just not the egg collection procedure (and sadly no living children to show for it yet) I have wondered about this myself though especially as I did the first 4 fresh cycles in the space of a year but I don't seem to have had any ill effects physically although mentally I thought I was close to some sort of breakdown after the 4th one failed and then we finally had tests come back which showed I had implantation issues. I think I am more concerned about some of the preparation meds such as the oestrogen patches and some of the tablets used in HRT which go on about breast cancer on the labelling. That said I tell myself that we are only taking them for a very short time and some people take them for years with no ill effects at all. I suppose if there were major issues with having multiple cycles though there would be disclaimers all over everything before we started our cycles though. All the best for your 6th cycle. I hope it goes well and you get your baby.
