Hi All, not sure If this post is allowed.

I’m wondering if anyone has used those cheap ivf clinics offering a full round for £2.5k.

Anyone have any experiences they would like to share? Xx

Your not ment to but abc gave a strict creteria in order to be able to cycle with them so you need to check that out

I passed theM on to a friends sister in law and she had a boy not me but for me personally I went abroad

Thank you for your help and advice. Where abroad did you go? Do you have to be out there a week for collection and then 5 day transfer?

No you can fly in just for collection then you have to wait for the 5 days to transfer so essentially a week

Hiya, I am with them. They only take on patients with no ‘issues’ meaning straight forward cases; you have to low bmi, good egg quality and be 37 max. They don’t offer any of the extra add ons people might want. I have struggled to even get them to give me extra progesterone when it was low. So it depends what your treatment needs are. They will do an initial scan etc on you anyway to decide if you’re eligible to come to them.

Thank you for replying. Hope it goes well for you. Do they do long or short protocol?

They only do short protocols as use less medication/low doses.

Do they accept Male factor problems?

Pretty sure they do ICSI - I’d check our their website

Don’t think they do surgical sperm retrieval

They do ICSI, we had that.

Thank you, were you successful? Is it worth the money saved?

Not successful yet. We’re going into our third cycle soon. It depends on what you want from a clinic; to see a doctor who will delve more into your potential issues or see only nurse consultants who pretty much follow one protocol for every patient. With ICSI we paid about £4700 for fresh cycle.

Hope you get your bfp soon.

We will definitely look into it. What clinic location do you use?

When are the scans (what days etc) when your stimming?

Thank you!

We have been with Harley Street but are moving to Wimbledon for next cycle as it’s more convenient to get to.

I had scans on days 7, 9 & 11. They say approximately it will be days 5,7 & 9.

Good luck with choosing a clinic x

Depending where you live there is an nhs prices clinic in Cambridge and Ipswich which includes all drugs and less than £3k per cycle
