I had my roots done as normal every 6 weeks or so. Can't recall if that was during any of the 2wws but it wasn't something that was on my radar to avoid - I carried on once I was pregnant too. I go to a hairdresser that uses more natural colour products as my hair frazzled with other stuff but there must be potentially harmful stuff in all hair dye or it wouldn't work (and sometimes 'natural' can be more harmful than synthetic) but it doesn't seem to have done any harm...
Hey. I didn’t dye my hair during 2ww but have done a couple of times since! I hate all the grey and couldn’t tolerate it! I did quite a lot of research online and it doesn’t look like there’s too much of a confirmed risk and that was good enough for me!
Hi, my clinic actually ask you not to use hair dye throughout the treatment. I asked about it and they said not to use anything that is absorbed (I.e. applied to your roots). Lots of people were shocked and told me they’d always dyed their hair as usual but I followed the clinics advice just incase. X
I’m 22 weeks and still haven’t dyed my hair. 😂 I think I’m crazy to be honest and so does everyone else. I haven’t had my hair done since before Christmas and I had my bfp the end of January. I am booked in to finally have it done in July and I honestly can not wait. That should do me until I have had my little one. I know roots are so. Annoying but for me I just couldn’t justify the risk. I have used dry shampoo/ root touch up ect instead x
