Brown spotting and cramps at 6 weeks - is it over 😢

Hi ladies,

I had my bfp a couple of weeks ago but haven’t felt much since so I’ve been doubting it’s a viable pregnancy.

Today I’ve had some cramping like period pains and when going through toilet, there’s been some brown spotting.

I’m petrified after having a MMC preciously.

Has anyone had spotting and cramps like this and it’s been absolutely fine?

I had this, everything was ok with our baby and heartbeat found. Brown spotting and cramping is very common.

I had brown spotting quite a lot of it for about one month! My little one is 2 now! ♥️ xx

Hi Catlady. Hopefully it is just a bit of irritation from pessary use. You could switch to your back passage for a bit and see if it settles. Drink plenty of water in case an infection is brewing and watch urine is pale and clear. Obviously get checked out if worried. Your scan is near so hopefully that will be OK and reassure you. Diane

Hi Diane, I am already using them rectally so sadly it’s not that. The blood got heavier with cramping so I’m not hopeful. Have a scan on Monday to see what’s happening. Heartbroken though 💔

I’ll this is very similar to what I’ve been going through. Although I had heavy bleeding and clots for one day! First scan they couldn’t see a Fetal pole or heartbeat so thought I could be miscarrying! 4 days later heartbeat 💓 so don’t lose hope there’s lots of reason for bleeding x

Thank you 🙏🏼 it’s just I’m cramping, sore boobs have completely gone and now a little pink/red so I’m not hopeful xx
