Negative pregnancy test and faded symptoms at 6dp5et

Hi, I am 6dp5et and I had a bad sore throat, along with stuffy nose the next day of my embryo transfer. The sore throat went away the next day (2dp5et), but the stuffy nose has persisted up to today. I have no cough, but I do have headaches here and there. I did have cramping until day five past embryo transfer.

Another interesting thing that happened was that at this point I am not bloated anymore, my breast were sore until about the third day past the transfer but went away, and then came back on day 4 or 5 (cannot remember) past the transfer.

I do not have any symptoms other than stuffy nose, burping a lot and sore breast. Although I do feel hot once a while and did have vivid dreams right after the transfer.

I did test on day 4 and 6 in the afternoon and both came back negative. So, did it fail?

Heya. The symptoms could be due to the hormones and the egg collection, so I wouldn’t read too much into them. I also think it’s really early - a negative result this early doesn’t mean it’s failed! Wait a few more days and try again 💪🤞💫

Hi there!! I don't know because I see so many stories of women testing as early as 4 days past embryo transfer and they have a faint line.

That can happen, but it’s definitely not the norm. OTD is what it is for a reason 💪

Hi! There’s definitely still hope! Also, it’s important to test first thing in the morning before HCG gets too diluted to show up on a test! Wishing you all good things ❤️

Hi! Thank you for responding. I did test today (7dp5et) at 3:30 am when I felt I had to pee while sleeping and it still came back negative.
