Last embryo

Hi all, I am having my last frozen embryo transferred in just over a week. Having had two failed cycles and one success that ended in a miscarriage I am finding it hard to stay hopeful for this final transfer. I had my tubes removed 6 weeks ago due to bilateral hydrosalpinx so I know I’m in better position then I’ve ever been. I’m scared this will fail and even more scared of the possibility of another miscarriage, if it is successful. Anyone have any words of wisdom/advice or ways in which you helped settle the negative thoughts?

Heya. I’m so sorry you are having such a tough journey. Medically speaking I don’t have any advice to offer, but have you thought about acupuncture ? I don’t know if it’s your thing, and totally fair enough if not - but I know some people swear by it, and I’ve been going for a few months and find it really helps with processing what your body is trying to do and focusing on the positive as much as possible. Thank you. I’d consider anything. Can you have acupuncture after the embryo transfer or just up until it? X

Both - you can have it at any stage, and the therapist will tailor what they do to the phase you’re in. My acupuncturist also does a treatment on the day of transfer, both before and after x
