LOW BETA HCG

Hi, me again!!!

Iam really worrying about my HCG being low.

10dpt - 64 (4 weeks 1 day)

12dp5dt - 142 (4 weeks 3 days)

 14dp5dt - 437 (4 weeks 5 days)

They are more than doubling but worried they are still low. Any success stories or anything similar please?

these look really good to me personally, you should be able to see the sac in the next week and that should help reassure you further xx

I am so scared. The doctor still thinks the readings are low but we can only pray xx

stay positive, you have no reason to worry just yet. I’ve seen many success stories with lower HCGs as long as they’re doubling. All looking good so far xx

Also my clinic didn't do HCG tests. I did a pregnancy test every couple of days after OTD to see if the line was getting darker! Fingers and toes crossed for you. xx

These look like good numbers, Jess1111! See: betabase.info/chart/basic/s...

My first beta at 9dpt was 52, and the following was around 160 - it was a slow start but my HCG of 52 is now an 8 months old - so it's entirely possible that this works out! My clinic only tested twice and then did the scan where we could already see the heartbeat. Keeping my fingers crossed for you ❤️

thank you so much xx did you ever have any symptoms early on? I don’t at the moment 😞

Nope, I had some period-like cramps during the 2ww, and a bit of spotting, but after the beta I has 0 symptoms for the longest time. In fact, the only symptom I had was heartburn and tiredness but it was well after!

Hi Jess, just wondered how you are after worrying about your low betas? I am going for my first beta tomorrow day 12. But have faint tests so know-it-all is going to be low! I see it can still be successful for some with low levels - yours didn't actually appear low though? I hear over 100 day12 is good!???

Hello,

Unfortunately, mine did end in another miscarriage 😞

I knew it would to be honest as the same happened with my second transfer. Light tests and low betas. But I have also heard that sometimes this can be normal.

I am keeping everything crossed for you 🙏🏻 x

Oh so sorry! I've never even seen a second line so for now staying a bit hopeful, just not getting excited! X
