Cost of donor sperm and donor eggs

Hi all,

We had follow up yesterday and we might be moving onto donor sperm. We contacted sperm bank in America as we have seen someone with characteristics that match my husband’s. However, it was an exclusive donor and they said they would charge £30,000. We don’t have this sort of money and just wondering if people could DM regarding the cost of their donor sperm (and also interneted to know cost of donor egg).

Hi there is there a reason why you have specifically chosen to look in America for a donor? Sperm donation is available in this country a lot cheaper than what you have been quoted? Or if you look at other countries it's also cheaper. That is an awful lot of money!

Hi there, I don't know in regards to sperm donor costs but we've just opted for a donor multi cycle package with 50% refund if neither round works. That is costing us £19k but we are doing fresh eggs and we've gone for a large set of eggs. I am 42 too so that has bumped the price up. Everything is just so expensive. If you would like any details on the clinic etc dm me xx

Hello, from my experience in Europe it was between 1,000 EUR - 2,500 EUR based on the quality (motility), for each try. Exclusive donors commit to only donate once / to one person, which explains the high price. I hope it helps, good luck
