Faint line on pregnancy test?!

Please help! I’ve been feeling extremely nauseous for about 4 days now, it’s at its worst in the morning and comes and goes throughout the day, the smell of any meat being cooked is seriously disgusting me and making me gag but i haven’t thrown up. I should be having my period in a couple days, usually around this time I’d have some period cramps and get very emotional, but i’m not having any of that, my boobs just hurt (but that’s pretty normal for me).

This test has confused me because it looks as though there’s a faint line making a cross in the circle section (cross meaning pregnant with this one), but it’s so faint so I just don’t know. I tried a different test but that didn’t show up anything, could perhaps the hCG hormone just be very low, hence the faint line, or is it more likely i’m just not pregnant?

Hi! I know that this tests with blue dye are very known for evap lines. Try and do a first response one. It detects from 6miu. Or wait a day or two before you do another test. The hcg usually doubles every 48 to 72 hours. Fingers crossed for good news!

It does look like it could be an evaporation line as it’s so thin. How long after taking the test did the line come up?

As the other poster said, try a first response test as the pink dye ones are more reliable and FR are the most sensitive tests x

I have literally just had the same issue, as the other results say I would get first response they are really good. I tested the first time last Wednesday, Thursday and then Saturday to see what happened to the line.

Maybe should wait 3 or 4 days and repeat test - as previous post says the hcg usually doubles and should show a stronger lineGood luck
