4weeks+6days Bleeding only when wiping

Hi im currently 4 weeks and 6 days and last night I went to the toilet and when I wiped there was blood on my tissue. I haven't filled a pad and it's only when I wipe, I'm just worried because I had a missed miscarriage with my first pregnancy and I'm hoping its not happening again. I've been to my hospital they have booked me in for a scan tomorrow but I'm just needing some opinions on if I should be worried. Its turned to brown spotting now and have had no cramps or pains can anyone please help??

I know its easier said than done but try not to worry too much, at 4 weeks 4 days I had a bleed with clots and mild period like pains that filled pads, it lasted about 4 hours and then disappeared, I then from there had the smoothest pregnancy and my daughter was born perfectly healthy and is now 8 weeks old, wishing you all the best xxx

Hi, I had bit of red bleeding and brown spotting for 5 days when I was 5 weeks pregnant and again at 7 weeks pregnant. I automatically assumed the worse because I had an early miscarriage few month before. But it stopped and everything went on to be fine. Good luck with the scan x

Many people have had bleeding and they had a successful pregnancy, but what I would recommend is to go and check your progesterone level and see if you need to increase your dosage. I had some pink spotting and my progesterone was very low, now it is as high as it should. Best of luck hun xxx

Its very normal to worry when you have a bleed. Ivf gives us soo much anxiety!!! But

I think alot of ppl have bleeding in ivf (me including). I had bleeding on and of from 5 weeks at one point got really heavy i was devastated really thought i had lost the baby. They never found the reason but i had a healthy baby girl.

Hopefully nothing to worry about. Would be very good to get blood done jus for reassurance and maybe also checking progesterone like others have mentioned. Sending over lots of prays baby sticks and you have a health pregnancy.

Thankyou so much . We had our bloods took yesterday and came bk at 9000 so good result. We are 4 weeks 6 days today, had a scan today they saw a yolk sac. So hopefully all is good it really early to say but bloods are good just hope we see a fatal pole next one as hcg levels are high . Thankyou and congratulations xx

I bled from 5 weeks to 14 weeks and now have a 3yr old! Hope the scan goes well and puts your mind at ease xx

Thankyou .bloods are 9000 and scan today which is 4 week 6 days we managed to see a yolk sac. Hopefully next scan we see a fatal pole as our bloods are high. Congratulations to you and your. God bless xx

Just a little update.... yesterday was our scan day. 6 weeks 3 day and we got to see our little babys heart beat was the most amazing thing ever. We feel the most luckiest people on earth . Love to all of you ❤

What great news! I'm so happy you could see the little heartbeat and everything is ok. How are you feeling? Any severe symptoms?

But what about the blood, why did it come? Did your doctor said anything?

Got a bleed outside the womb so that's where the bleeding is coming from. Yes hcy levels was 8791 to 17816 so levels doupled xx

I passed large clots straight for 3 weeks but no pain either and was told that’s very encouraging as bleeding with cramping is more of a red flag! I went on to have my baby. She was born a healthy 8 pounds 7 ounces in November 2021 a grade 3BB It’s common with ivf pregnancies it’s called a Subcrionic bleed around the placenta. They often right themselves. Lots of rest, water and no heavy lifting xxx
